Documenting the Plaques

We, a class of Second Years studying Religion and Social, Personal Health Education started work on a plaques project.

As part of our research for this project we visited the Church as a class group. On the Church benches are plaques that have been donated by the friends and families of deceased parishioners. We decided that we would take photographs of the plaques. There were eight of us: Arek, Asif, Bianca, Ereden, Mervin, Nicolas, Tony and Victor.

The plaques in question are on the benches in our local Church - Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Church. We researched the Church history and photographed the plaques on the benches.

Each of us have uploaded the plaques that we photographed. The church is in a cruciform shape and so there are four separate sets of benches, all facing the altar. To make them easier to find you can click on the boxes below to view the benches on either the left or right hand side of the Church or to the left or right hand side of the altar.
