Six Word Story Competition for Adults

During August we are running a writing competition for adults.

Choose your favourite artefact on display at the National Museum of Ireland – Country Life and write a story about it in just six words!

Entries will be judged by Irish Independent Editor, Katie Byrne and the winning entry will be published in the Weekend magazine.

This competition is open to ADULTS only (aged 18 years and over) 

One entry per person

Six Word Story must be original work of the entrant

Six Word Story must be based on an object on display at the National Museum of Ireland – Country Life

Name of Object,Title of story, Name of entrant and Contact Details must be listed at the top of each entry form.

By entering this competition entrants are agreeing to have their Six Word Story reproduced in print and online by the National Museum of Ireland.

Entrants can opt to withhold their name from any publication or reproduction.

The winning story will be published in the Irish Independent Weekend Magazine

The deadline for entry is 31st August 2014
